Hello!

I have a very large project, with many new processes that I have created. I have recently purchased the ecoinvent license, and am switching to it from the idemat database.

I have imported all of my new processes into the ecoinvent database, with their original idemat processes/flows. I now wish to replace idemat database processes with 'equivalent'/new ecoinvent processes.

Is it possible to blanket switch out the processes, e.g. Idemat `A.020.01.103 Boron Carbide` to ecoinvent `boron carbide production | boron carbide | Cutoff, U`? Or is the only logical option to perform this manually for each sub-process within each of my own processes (many, many hours of work)?

One option I can see is to:

  1. manually edit the imported Idemat `A.020.01.103 Boron Carbide` process and flow(s) and copy the data from the ecoinvent `boron carbide production | boron carbide | Cutoff, U` into it,
  2. delete the original ecoinvent process and
  3. rename the idemat process to the ecoinvent process name, and set the ecoinvent flow as the supplier.

Would this be safe to do?
