Hello!
I have a very large project, with many new processes that I have created. I have recently purchased the ecoinvent license, and am switching to it from the idemat database.
I have imported all of my new processes into the ecoinvent database, with their original idemat processes/flows. I now wish to replace idemat database processes with 'equivalent'/new ecoinvent processes.
Is it possible to blanket switch out the processes, e.g. Idemat `A.020.01.103 Boron Carbide` to ecoinvent `boron carbide production | boron carbide | Cutoff, U`? Or is the only logical option to perform this manually for each sub-process within each of my own processes (many, many hours of work)?
One option I can see is to:
- manually edit the imported Idemat `A.020.01.103 Boron Carbide` process and flow(s) and copy the data from the ecoinvent `boron carbide production | boron carbide | Cutoff, U` into it,
- delete the original ecoinvent process and
- rename the idemat process to the ecoinvent process name, and set the ecoinvent flow as the supplier.
Would this be safe to do?
