How to find nanomaterials in the Ecoinvent database?

Hi,

My project is related to the life cycle of nanomaterials and I have difficulties finding nanomaterials in the Ecoinvent database. I am searching using https://nexus.openlca.org/search and unfortunately I can not find even basic chemicals such as  myristic acid and sodium acetate trihydrate in ecoinvent v3.11. Could you please help me with it? Every data set in ecoinvent from v2.2 to v3.11 has different data? Or is there any other way to search?

Hi Sesill,

well, ecoinvent contains quite some products but not everything. You will need to model the processes you do not find in ecoinvent or any other generic database yourself. The different ecoinvent versions build on each other, a newer version contains some new products and also updates, so you will probably not find the datasets in an older version either.
