Is it possible to integrate an external model into OpenLCA using a Python script?

For example, can a techno-economic analysis model be coupled with an LCA model so that data can be exchanged between them?

Answer 1

"integrate" (i.e. bringing the other model entirely into openLCA) is difficult but you can couple both models via openLCA's IPC interface; there were quite some examples on the last and the previous openLCA conference for example, linking openLCA to GAMS, Material Simulation tools, etc..
