today a question on basic procedures...
I am modeling the manufacturing of a part made of aluminium and G/CRFP. Mainly I am modeling this process chain with ecoinvent (3.9). Unfortunately, G/CFRP are not included in ecoinvent. However, luckily GFRP sheet are included in BAFU:2025 :)
I got the impression that in good practices a dataset of one database must not be imported into the other database. So, I propose a workaround on that: Is it allowed that I calculate this manufacturing process of GFRP sheet in BAFU:2025 and import the result into my ecoinvent database? What I surely keep constant is the assessment method (in this case EF3.1).
Is that a suitable procedure?
