I am doing an LCC for my product system and I have a question about the value added and what this means. I understand in theory, however I have an input of viscose, and in the LCC (cost) the viscose gets a negative value (i.e. value added). Why is this?
Also, I tried to calculate the cost for the same process by hand and the results differs, which is probably due to the value added. Can I somehow disregard these if I am not interested in them?
