I have noticed that my ecoinvent Database files seem to get "compressed" upon finalizing their import(s) ("Import file") into a newly created database (Create new database > Complete Reference Data).
Altogether, the files have approximately 2 GB in their zolca state. However, once imported, the overall database file only shows 1.09 GB. To me, this seems very strange and, considering that the biggest single file (1.7 GB) took the least amount of time to import, I feel like something went wrong.
The "validate" function did not return any warnings or errors, but I would like to know if this is normal behavior or if I need to redo the entire database operation.
