I am having trouble exporting processes as JSON-LD files in version 1.10.2. When I try to export I get a variety of errors essentially saying it failed to export. The exported zip file is empty. Can anyone help with this issue or suggest another way to export processes to be imported into another database?

Hi Nicole,

first, you probably should update to 1.10.3 (it is as if using an older webbrowser - there is typically no reason not to update) - the JSON export works really well and is used by many, also by us, in daily work. Maybe you do not have write acess to the location you want to export to? Or the harddisc is full?

Best wishes,

Andreas

Thanks Andreas, exporting to a different folder worked! As a side note, the reason I did not update to 1.10.3 is that a colleague of mine found it to run Monte Carlo simulations much slower than 1.10.2 (at least double the run time), even on a very high powered computer with a large memory allocation for openLCA. Do you know if this issue has been resolved?

Thanks!

Ah good to hear - with Monte Carlo simulation (and calculation speed in general): Did you download the additional, fast numerical libraries (if not, you see the message: "you can make openLCA faster" on the welcome screen) - this increases the speed in 1.10.3 a lot.

Thanks, that did help increase the speed!
