I think I understand now; the file selection dialogues in openLCA (which we take from the Eclipse IDE) are a bit confusing, you cannot see files, just select the folder, once you accept the folder you see the files in a next step.
(zolca are entire openLCA databases, import them via "restore" or via "import entire database"; JSON-LD is an LCA format which stores files in a directory structure, and packs all in one zip file)
