When I change a proccess that is linked to a product system, the calculation of the product system is not the same as when I perform a direct calculation in the process itself.

Note

  • the product system is created with auto-link processes unit, prefer default providers and unit-proces
  • there is no difference in parameters
  • same impact assessment method is used
What could be the case?

Hi, the product system is not (as in GaBi) a copy of the processes, but the processes are referenced; if you change them, or one of them, the product system is changed as well.

What do you mean by "a direct calculation in the process itself"?

Best wishes,

Andreas

Hi, thank you for your quick respons. I understood that the processes are referenced, and expected that if a process is changed, that the productsystem is changed as well. But it is not.

The result of running a calculation in the product system, is not the same as a calulation in the process where it is built off. (in the last case: that is what I meant with the direct calculation)

The problem still exists. If I change a process (that is referring to a product system) the product system is not calculating with the changes. This applies to is I change an amount in the process inputs.
