My last question of the day : When a background data is missing, how can the composition be distributed ? Typical example: the ingredient "essential oil of mint" in the composition of Betadine is unavailable in EcoInvent. There is no data and it would not be representative to include directly the accumulation of molecules present in this essential oil. While in its composition it is present at <25%, how to adapt the composition? I welcome any advice on how to get closer to the academic way (without this kind of issue, in an ideal world or a "peer reviewed" method). I use ecoinvent, probably the 3.5 version.
