Hi, it depends a bit (!), in some databases and models, this is commonly done (ecoinvent, e.g.), in others, it is commonly not done (GaBi) - you specify this in goal and scope of your study. Doing it (adding capital assets) is quite easy as soon as you have data about life time and about the supply chains of the capital assets, you can e.g. just enter 1 tiny fraction of a "pelletiser machine" to each kg of pellets (10-7 units of machine, e.g., which assumes that the machine produces 10 million kgs of pellets over its life time).
Best wishes, Andreas
