Hi, I have the characterization factors for a version of the LCIA method CML called NMD-CML, which is aligned with the norm EN 15804 . However, these are provided in an excel spreadsheet. Adding them one by one would be very time consuming. Is there a way in which I could import them, or copy them? Perhaps with the OLCA package?

Hello,

I would be interested in this as well.

I want to merge several impact categories into one and add parameters to each characterization factor. As well via excel this would be easy to do, while adding them manually in openLCA would take forever.

Looking forward to an answer ;)

Kind regards

Hello,

I just found a way, how to do it.

In my case I want to edit the cf by adding a parameter, so this is what I did:

  1. Copy the whole list of cf from an impact category into excel
  2. You will see that the headings (Flows, Category, Factor, Unit... are copied as well)
  3. You can now edit the values under "Factor" as you wish. It seems to be important to maintain the order of the columns
  4. Then copy the cells, INCLUDING the headings (Flows, Category, Factor...) and paste them in your impact category
  5. For me it worked and I was able to import edited values from excel this way.
