I'm working on a textile emission factor within ecoinvent and wanted to increase the used fossil energy component by 20% to get a more accurate result to my actual process. I opened the closest process which is a "system / ROW" process. I created a copy and in this copy, I increased coal, oil and gas inputs by 20%. I then created a product system from this modified process and calculated the impact using the GHG method.
However, the calculated carbon emissions are still the same as before. Why is this the case and what do I need to do to increase the CO2eq based on assumed higher electricity consumption.
