Impacts assigned to elementary flows?

Hi everybody,

where can I check which impacts are assigned to different elementary flows for the LCIA methods ReCiPE or CML?

I have "SULFATE" as an output, leading to zero impacts in any category of the chosen methods and would like to check whether this is correct.

Hello amreibe,

Simply double click on the elementary flow. This will open a tab for that flow.

Then navigate to the "characterization factors" tab in the bottom. Locate either ReCiPe or CML in the "category" column, and see whether the sulfate has an impact within these LCIA schemes.

Hi Matias,
thank you for your quick reply. The "characterization factors" tab is completely empty when I follow your instructions for the flow SULFATE. For other elementary flows, there is a lot of information in this tab. This simply means that the elementary flow SULFATE is not connected to any impacts accoring to any of the LCIA methods available, is that correct?

That is absolutely correct. It means that this specific flow has no connected characterization factors.
