Hello, I am interested in modelling the CCS process for the steel and DRI production using natural gas as the reducing agent. I am unsure how to do this. What I did so far was to include the negative value CO2 emission to show that CSS is capturing the CO2. However, when I analysed the GWP contribution, the direct contribution was negative. This does not make sense because the CSS is capturing the CO2 from the steel process, not from the atmosphere.So what is the correct way of modelling CCS? Should I just include the CO2 emission to air that is not captured by CCS and create a new product called "Captured CO2?"? I would appreciate all the help I can get.
