How to model surplus energy

Question

I have a product system where organic waste is used in a CHP-plant to generat heat and electricty.

Input = Mass*LCV = total energy --> Heat = Total energy* Conversion efficiency* Heat conversion factor and the same respectively for electricity

The heat and electricity generated is partly used on-site by other processes. How can I model the surplus heat and electricity and select the respective avoided product providers?

Well you would need to know how much of heat and electricity is "surplus", i.e. what is the difference between produced and locally used? Or maybe I am not getting your question?
