Hi,

so far, I have been using open LCA without using libraries. It works all fine and I can compute even large product systems.

Now, I wanted to use the library function and create a library from the EcoInvent database. I created a new (blank) database and added the library.

As soon as I try to calculate a product system, I get an "Failed to create the part's controls" error indicating a lack of memory (see image). The product system computed here only contains a single system process!

I have 84 GB of memory assigned to openLCA and it works fine when using complex models that are not connected to any library. Why does this happen, when I connect it to a library?

How can I solve this issue?

Using MacIOS on a MacBook Pro. openLCA version 2.0. Tried it on 2 computers...same problem on both computers.

Yes, it is a bit tricky, we plan to release the libraries on our side soon, but did not want to withhold this feature for users. Stay tuned, so to say...
