"Failed to Create Database" Error

I have a Dell Latitude 5420 -- Every time I try to upload a database or create a new one, I get the same message -- "Failed to Create Database".

I have tried restarting, redownloading my database and even creating an empty database. Please help.

This can have several reasons

- you need to have write access to the location where your database is created

- your harddisc needs to have space for it

The computer brand and version is not so important, but the OS (windows or Mac or Linux) and in windows how did you install? In windows, easiest is to use the zip archive version, and extract it in your user directory on the computer. Then you should have write access to the default database location (which is in a subdirectory of your user in windows, check other posts here).

And check if your harddisc is full, and if yes, make some room.
