Hi

I have an LCA done for recycled polypropylene injected in Europe, that I would like to use. I have data for climate change, material ressources, etc.

I wonder how I can insert this in Open LCA. I use EcoInvent for the majority of my projects.

Thank you very much for your help

Dear klep,

sounds great that you have your own LCIA data. In openLCA you can use 'results' for this. Have a look here: https://greendelta.github.io/openLCA2-manual/res_analysis/save_export.html. With openLCA 2.5, you can also now add results directly in your process and not only in the model graph. However, make sure that you use the same impact assessment method in your results and your calculations.
We can also advertise the EcoProfiles: https://nexus.openlca.org/database/EcoProfiles%20Recycled%20Plastics%20
which hold inventories (disaggregated or aggregated) for rPP. Those ones you can directly import and use as well.

Hope this helps

Hi, I couldn't do what I want.
I have a PDF with with values saying for 1kg of recycled PP injected in France, with results such as climate change 971 kgCO2e ; fossil ressources 35 700 MJ, etc.
I'd like to create an element with those results.
When I do your suggestion, what I understand is that I need to run a calculation and then save it as a result ? But I have nothing to input / output, I have the results :)

Thanks again for you precious help :)
