Hi All,

I am currently using OpenLCA as part of a thesis project, I have been given for my final year of Engineering at University, unfortunately while I have been given this project. No one in my department knows how to use OpenLCA or any LCA tool well enough to help me so I come to you as a last resort.

I am modelling Sustainable Aviation Fuel in accordance with GREET which provides CO2 contributions for various pathways, I have created a database and imported these into OpenLCA.

I did it by creating various elementary flows as emission to air and then the mass of CO2 released as the input to output 1MJ of SAF.

My Issue comes with the projects tab and actual analysis, I'm struggling to compare the various pathways as every time I do it, it only shows the CO2 values within the impact flow as just the Climate Change whereas I would like to create graphs to compare all of the various contributions.

I am very sorry to be a burden but after much research, I am stumped. If anyone could help I would be very grateful.

Hello - I see. We offer support from Nexus if you want, for a fee (https://nexus.openlca.org/service/openLCA%20Support%20(help%20desk)). You can also try to ask more detailed questions here but if you have not done an models before it is taking some input probably. If you have some time, I would recommend you attend a training, please see here: https://nexus.openlca.org/service/openLCA%20Trainings. This is designed to prepare you to make you own models, understand their implications, etc.. Success!
