Hi, I am modeling this process in OpenLCA. In this model, the polymers are directed to an incineration facility. I have completed the modeling in OpenLCA and would appreciate your feedback to ensure I am on the right track. I am using this post as guideline.

https://ask.openlca.org/3093/how-model-incineration-process-with-ecoinvent-cut-database

"Treatment of waste plastic, mixture, municipal incineration | waste plastic, mixture | Cutoff, U".
According to the description in the "General Information" of this dataset:
The net energy produced in MSWI (Municipal Solid Waste Incineration) is 3.48 MJ/kg of electric energy and 7.03 MJ/kg of thermal energy.

From this information, it can be concluded that for 1 kg of incinerated polymer, 3.48 MJ of electricity and 7.03 MJ of heat energy are generated. Therefore, for my 142.9 kg of polymer, the process will produce approximately 497.29 MJ of electricity and 1004.59 MJ of heat energy.

I have put them in output and selected avoided product. I would like to know if this is all right?

I would also like to know what should I consider as provider?

Please let me know. Thank you.

Regards,

Nihal
