I am using Ecoinvent 3.9.1 database in openLCA 2.6.0. I have two product systems - one is modeled with a photovoltaic process specific to CH/Switzerland, while the other is modeled with a photovoltaic process specific to US-TRE (Texas). I have run the CML v4.8 2016 impact assessment method on each system and gotten much higher GWP 100 (kg CO2-eq) values for the US-TRE product system (they are off by an order of magnitude greater than 1E5). I have investigated the contribution trees and see that the electricity processes are the problem. I believe this might be an openLCA issue because I have also run calculations on each process individually - outside of the product system I made - and they have similar kg CO2-eq values. Why might my overall values be so different?

Specifically the processes are titled "electricity production, photovoltaic, 3kWp slanted-roof installation, multi-Si, panel, mounted, renewable energy product | Cutoff, U - CH" and "electricity production, photovoltaic, 3kWp slanted-roof installation, multi-Si, panel, mounted| Cutoff, U - US-TRE".

Indeed, and I edited your title, that was an error in the ecoinvent 3.9.1 database where we had newly introduced the impact category directions - I recommend you switch to a newer version if you can.
