Holistic and Integrated Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (HILCSA). It was developed by Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) to enable a comprehensive and integrated assessment of social, ecological, and economic sustainability. Using around 80 indicators linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, it helps identify trade-offs, synergies, and hotspots across sustainability dimensions.
