My company has already purchased a licence for the ecoinvent dataset (version 3.11) from ecoinvent.org. I would now like to import this dataset into openLCA, but unfortunately, I cannot find any instructions on how to integrate the data to openLCA.

How can I export the dataset from ecoinvent and import it to open LCA?
Where can I find some step by step instructions?

Thanks!

You need to register your license in openLCA nexus then (for a fee) to obtain the ecoinvent files. It is better to buy the license directly from us (next time, or future maintenance for a perpetual license), you will get both full ecoinvent.org access and the openLCA files, and it is cheaper than from ecoinvent.

Best wishes,

Dear Andreas,
thank you for your prompt reply!
Whilst browsing the Q&A forum, I also realised that it would have been better to purchase the dataset directly via Open LCA Nexus. However, we had already purchased the dataset separately some time ago. So is there really no way at all to import the dataset?

indeed - now please just register the database in Nexus, for a fee (you see this in the "purchase tiles" in Nexus).
