Hi Lily, there is no direct answer. Both are suitable and it depends on the goal of your study. Often, the life cycle impact of individual building parts are calculated in accordance with EN15804 which specifies characterisation factors. I think mostly in accordance with CML but you better double-check. Best, Jonas
