The Impact analysis shows the largest impact from container glass but glass is not among my inputs.

Question

I am trying to develop a simple LCA for a homework assignment for a class I teach.  I am using the ELCD database.  When my system has electricity, the largest impact in nearly every category is from container glass.  Why is container glass a component of electricity generation and how do I work around this problem?

It sounds like you are using the "prefer default providers" function when creating the product system. For the ELCD database, this is not recommended. Please check the "only link default providers" box and make sure to choose providers manually if applicable.
