I am doing an LCA for a datacenter and my main focus is the global warming impact category. For some reason I get a lot of negative carbon dioxide emissions from one process especially: "Process steam from Light fuel oil 90%, consumption mix, at power plant, heat plant, MJ, 90 % efficiency". I know that the construction and usage of a datacenter do not reduce the carbon dioxide equivalents but I still get that result. Any help? I am using the databases EF database, ELCD and NEEDS and the impact assessment method ReCiPe 2016 (H).

It is likely from some very upstream process, usually packaging, that consume the carbon without making co2 emissions, you can check the sankey chart for a better idea of where the impacts are coming from.
