Why are my aluminium results so low?

Hi Folks,

Im trying to decide whether my Aluminium GWP results are accurate or not. Have been spinning my wheels for ages trying to work out why they are so low. I am getting around 8.3kgCO2-e per kg Al. Im new to LCA, but this seems really low. It suggests to me that I have a fundamental misunderstanding of the software.

Overall, my model is giving results 10% of what I would have guesstimated.

Id really appreciate it if someone could let me know whether my Al results for GWP are reasonable.

Hi, I found another reference that put the emissions factor at this value. So it seems the LCA result is correct for Al. Cheers!
