I am new using the Exiobase, and I need to estimate the Endpoint impacts for IT for the UK (as vague as it sounds, I only have economic values for the category IT). The proxy category in Exiobase is “Computer and related services”, which I am using. Under this process, for each input, there are several repeated flows; for instance, “Air transport services (62)” is repeated 49 times, each one corresponding to a different country. My question is: Should I aggregate the flow “Air transport services (62)” into a single one by adding up the values of all independent countries? Alternatively, is each independent country giving a proportional contribution to the process “Computer and related services” and I should consider them as they are?
