I need to develop a small database of my own.
Firstly, I know that OpenLCA exploits the .zolca format to use its databases, but I know that some files are in the .JSON format, therefore I am wondering if a newly created .JSON file can be used in the OpenLCA environment or if there is the need to convert it in .zolca format and, if so, can the conversion tool be used to this aim?
Secondly, is there any way to access the "coding" behind flows, elementary or not, in already present databases such as EcoInvent?
Thank you.

Hi Giordano,

zolca files are entire openLCA databases, JSON-LD allows to export and import all elements in the database individually. I am not understanding your "coding behind flows" question part?

Best wishes,

Andreas
