I recently added the newest version of USLCI (2024Q2), to my database, and I wanted to update the electricity use of the processes I had created so far. Bulk-replacing the flow “Electricity, at Grid - RNA” with “Electricity, AC, 120V” worked without a glitch. However, I am having trouble with the next step, bulk replacing the provider of these new flows, because these newly created flows come without a provider. If I run a process with them, “Electricity; at user; consumption mix - Ohio Valley Electric Corporation - BA” comes up as a predetermined supplier, but when I go look for it for bulk replacement, it is not there. I have also tried the very first provider on the list, the blank one, which I thought it meant “default provider”, but I cannot select a product after that. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to add a provider to all these newly added flows in bulk?

Thank you,

Gonzalo

Hi Gonzalo!

I encountered a similar problem previously and using the flow mapping feature instead of bulk replace worked for me. Let me know if this helps, otherwise we can continue to troubleshoot.
