Hello, hope you doing well.

I have a question regarding the options available with OpenLCA to model waste valorization.

I have biowaste that is treated by anaerobic digestion and produces biogas and waste plastic that is treated by incineration and produces electricity.

My question is, what is the correct way to model the valorization of these wastes? I'll put some screenshots of my interpretation of the problem and how i did it, I would appreciate some feedback to understand if im doing it correctly.

Thank you for your help!

So only focussing on biogas and electricity that are byproducts from your waste treatment, in produçao and in consumo, from what I see you modeled this as avoided product, and you have set the provider process for this in both cases - that makes sense to me.

Addition: you have of course still multifunctional processes, they treat waste and produce one product (Sumo etc.) - you will need to decide about allocation still, since the system expansion / avoided product takes care only of the third funtion of these processes.
