Hi

I understand that OpenLCA use Oracle Java v.17 which is free under the Oracle No Fee Terms and Conditions program, but in september 2024 this version will be included in the Oracle Tecnology Network License Agreement (OTN agreement) which mean this version can be used only for personal use or specifics cases in development. Can someone clarify if the version of java in OpenLCA will have any restrictions on use as of September 2024 or if it includes an opensource version of java such as Openjdk

Hi, we already use the OpenJDK version of Java, so

I understand that OpenLCA use Oracle Java v.17

is not correct - which means the Oracle restrictions will not apply.

Best wishes,

Andreas
