Hello, I am using OpenLCA with EcoInvent 3.8. I compared the processes "market for electricity, high voltage | electricity, high voltage | Consequential, U - CA-AB" (Alberta, Canada) and "market for electricity, high voltage | electricity, high voltage | Consequential, U - CA-BC" (British Columbia, Canada) using ReCiPe midpoint (H) method, and there was no significant difference between the climate change values (in kg-CO2-eq. per kWh). However, I feel like there should be a significant difference since BC is mainly based on hydropower, and AB is mainly powered by natural gas. Am I missing something here? Please help! Thanks in advance!
