Hello, when importing databases downloaded from LCDN, such as EF_3_1_FEED and EF3_1_Chemicals_Part_1_public, into OpenLCA, many connectors appear in the process folder. What is the reason for this? What solutions are there? Will this affect LCA modeling?

Hello, indeed data from the LCDN node directly typically is imperfect and does not work nicely in LCA software and in openLCA. We have therefore made a curated version of all LCDN datasets, available from Nexus, and I would recommend using this. Since this curation was quite some effort, you need to purchase the DAL tool from Nexus for this. I hope this is acceptable.

Thank you,

hello, how to obtain the corresponding LCDN database on Nexus? Are they the ones under the "Databases" section? If so, what is the corresponding relationship with the databases on LCDN nodes? I notice that many require payment to use.Not just about purchasing related tools.

You only need to buy a tool, the database is free. The EF database on Nexus contains all data from all nodes (at time of preparation)
