I purchased the PEF 3.1 (not the last lite version) database last year. Now i'm with version 2.5.0 openlca. Today I’m trying to simply calculate some processes to understand the impact of a single process without doing any detailed mapping. However, as soon as I start the direct calculation, I get these warnings and then OpenLCA crashes. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Recommended settings when creating product systems
⚠ There are processes in the database without default providers for product inputs and/or waste outputs (see table below).
⚠ There are product and/or waste flows in the database that have multiple providers (see table below).

Hi,
in our report for the PEF 3.1 database https://nexus.openlca.org/ws/files/35738
it is stated "Hence, also openLCA’s ‘direct calculation’ function is not compatible with this database.".
I recommend to just use the system processes.

Hope this helps
