We have purchased the ecoinvent database recently and I was trying to build a product system which has around 12 process unit connected. there is two main reaction/process steps and i was builting a project system by connecting two parts. the first step reaction/ process step was working properly but as soon as i added the output of it to the next system and calculated the whole thing. openlca kept crashing. Usually we do the calculation with all the provider as unit process but I was trying to simplify the system as much as possible and kept the provider and units as system process. the whole thing kept crashing on me. yesterday I rebuilt the whole thing in LCIA database with only unit system and the whole thing now converged for calculation step. I am not sure why this was happening is the ecoinvent database and why just using a different database helped the calculation. point to be noted even in the ecoinvent database i have imported the LCIA impact assessment methods and I was using the ILDC 2011 midpoint method for the calculation. the error text kept saying StackOverflowError. I would really appreciate if anyone can help me understand where I might have gone wrong.

ok, can you post the error message? Search for "caused by". I assume you left the memory as default and with a bigger system openLCA does not have sufficient memory, so increase the memory for openLCA then. Hth.

My PC has a capacity of 16 GB, and I allocated 14 GB to LCA to complete the process.
