Agribalyse in openLCA: provider not auto-selected when only one provider exists

I am working with openLCA 2.4.1 and want to use Agribalyse, I downloaded
agribalyse_v_3.11_LCAmethods233_final16Jan24.

It seems that all Agribalyse processes, the provider field defaults to empty.
However, when opening the provider drop-down, there is often exactly one valid provider available, which can be selected manually and seems to work correctly.

This behaviour is consistent across the Agribalyse database.

What I have checked:

  • Linking properties: “There are process in the database without default providers…”
  • Flow names and provider names are not identical
  • I cannot find an option in openLCA 2.4.1 that automatically assigns a provider when only one candidate exists.

Question:
What is the recommended workflow for linking providers (without manually editing many processes)?

A provider is not needed for Agribalyse, it is clear which process provides a product, and thus built supply chains and life cycles are unambigous.

I do not understand your point

"flow names and provider names are not identical"

Indeed, since flow names are flows and provider names are processes?

You could set all providers automatically, with a script, if you like, but as said this is not really needed.
