Is it possible to convert a Unit Process into a System Process within openLCA to subsequently export it in ILCD format?

Hi everyone,

I am currently working with a dataset constructed as a Unit Process in openLCA. My goal is to export this dataset as an ILCD file, but I need the export to be structured as a System Process rather than a Unit Process.

Could you please clarify the best workflow to achieve this? Is there a direct "convert" function to transform the Unit Process into a System Process?

Hi,

this is no issue with openLCA. You just calculate your product system and then save the process as system process. This way, you can export the data in an aggregated form: https://greendelta.github.io/openLCA2-manual/prod_sys/exporting.html.
