Hi,
First of all, a big thank you to the Open LCA community for the technical support on this forum (special mention to Andreas).
I'm continuing two conversations in this new post (in order to add some screenshots):
https://ask.openlca.org/8805/how-can-export-data-from-model-the-same-ecoinvent-excel-output?show=8805#q8805
... The topic was: how to easily export a matrix with environmental impacts on one side and processes (only) entered by the user on the other. In Open LCA, you can extract the impact of the most important processes from the "Impact Analysis" tab (but this also includes a whole host of intermediate processes, making the results less pedagogically useful).
Here's is an excel export from Simapro : it simply shows the contribution of each process used by the user (10 in that case electricity, steam, water, ... compressed air, and nutrients) and not all the intermediate processes.
Example: If I use the "Electricity Spain" process, I will see the impact of "Electricity Spain" and not all the processes or flows that make up "Electricity Spain" (i.e., water, coal, natural gas, copper, etc.).
The export in graphical format then allows you to quickly see the proportions. of the impacts of the processes used. In the example below, you can see at a glance the significant impacts (green processes) and those that are much less significant (e.g., blue processes). This view is useful in eco-design and for the educational presentation of results.
The question is: how can this result be easily achieved using OpenLCA?
Once again, thank you for any feedback you may have.
