Hi, you mean this database, right : https://nexus.openlca.org/database/OzLCI2019 ?

You have done the right thing by importing the database into ecoinvent. This will add the number of background datasets available for your foreground model. This means, if you make your own process, you can add the Australian background dataset. The OzLCI2019 works with openLCA method package.

Hi, thank you for your answer.
I tried importing and linking AusLCI_V247_UP database from AusLCI. is it not possible to do this?

Hi, it is possible to import yes, but most likely the elementary flow system is not the same to that of ecoinvent. That is why the calculation doesn't take into account the AusLCI processes. To enable this you a) map the elementary flows (this can be quite some effort), or b) link the AusLCI processes to providers from ecoinvent. Option b can be simpler if AusLCI is based on ecoinvent.
