Hello, as stated in a previous thread, i have been unable to import one database into another one. I recently downloaded OpenLCA 2.0, hoping that would eleminate the problem, but the problem persists. The problem is describes in the previous thread:

https://ask.openlca.org/5745/import-of-database?show=5745#q5745

I hope this can be resolved, it is not sustainable to access a seperate database for unit processes, and a seperate one for system processes.

Which databases from ecoinvent 3.9.1 and which Nexus version of the databases you are trying to merge?

End of March, we uploaded an updated Nexus version 2 for our ecoinvent 3.9.1 databases (Consequential, Cutoff, APOS) were we addressed this issue. See point 5 in our blog post: https://www.openlca.org/ecoinvent-3-9-1-apos-other-updates-now-available/

I can merge, for example, cutoff LCI (Nexus version 2) and cutoff UPR (Nexus version2) without problems, because we gave new UUID numbers to the processes in the LCI databases.

Thank you Conrad, I was not aware that we had these updated already ;)

I see, this is not an issue of the software openLCA but of the database, and specifically of ecoinvent 3.9.1. In the ecoinvent 3.9.1 versions, we gave LCI and unit processes the same UUID, which prevents the merging. As there were some user requests, we will upload a new version with changed unit process UUIDs.
