ILCD Method: unit of measure

I have noticed 2 differences between the ILCD method of the OpenLCA package and the JRC documentation. For acidification and terrr. eutrophication in openlca are reported molC ... eq, while from the JRC molE ... eq are used. Is this difference meaningfull or it is just a misprint?
