Allocation of waste?

Hi all,
I am very new to the LCA process. I am conducting an LCA on a hydroponic farming system which produces lettuce as the primary product and some wastes (waste water, sediment etc.) Do I need to use an allocation method if the only other output is waste?
I'd appreciate any thoughts you may have!

Hi and welcome, allocation is only needed if a process has more than one benefit (being product output, or uptake of waste). Waste output is not a benefit and thus does not need allocation, similar to product input.
