Hello,

I want to know if it is methodogilically correct (even by results) to do the scale-ups of environmental impact by using the rule of three when we scale a process.

For instance , if I obtain a value of 10 kg.CO2 eq for 1L of reactor. Is it going to be 30 kg. CO2 eq for 3L of a reactor.

I understand that it depends on various parameters such as steoichometry (if it is chemical process), yields etc.. but in general is it possible to scale up by using the rule of three ? For instance the environmental impacts to manufacture 1 plastic cup vs 30 plastic cups.

Thank you.
