I started using Exiobase 3.8 (pxp) and understand that units are all provided per EUR 1,000,000. However, I doubt my results are correct. I'm mostly interested in GWP100 and I calculate it by opening the desired process and the corresponding country code, then Direct Calculation, then:
Allocation method: As defined in process
Impact assessment: CML, 2001 - baseline
Normalization: Left empty
Calculation type: Lazy / on demand
Then press finish.
But my results for a process may look like: 1.62E+10 kgCO2 eq
I assume this is per EUR 1,000,000
So the GWP100 per EUR 1.00 would be 16,218 kgCO2e eq per EUR 1.00, whereas something like 0.16 kgCO2e eq per EUR 1.00 would be more likely.
Can someone please help me and explain what's happening here and why the results are so incredibly high? I'm using OpenLCA 2.0.0
