I am modelling different end-of-life scenarios for a specific type of plastic waste with openLCA 2.0 and ecoinvent v3.9. I would like follow avoided burden approach and show the credits of each scenarios.
If I use ecoinvent cut-off, how can I add the credits of recycling or energy recovery? Is it more common to use APOS for the avoided burden approach?
I would appreciate the help on this to clarify how these different type of databases affect the allocation model that I choose and also a guidance on how I can show the credits.
