I'm currently working on an LCA study which evaluates a novel biorefinery approach to produce a protein product with additional co-products. In attributional LCA I want to compared the results of my findings with a comparable protein product. I think that "soybean meal to generic market for protein feed: Protein Feed: 100% crude", is the most viable comparative product since I can compare my novel protein on a crude protein basis. My questions is just to verify the description of the above soybean produce, that the 100% crude is how I interpret, i.e., this refers to impacts of product a volume of soybean meal which delivers 100% crude protein.
