Im doing a study and to make a comparison using openlcia methods with an existing study that has used the PEF methods.

I have only access to Ecoinvent 3 methods and openlcia methods. So im trying to find which method can be the most approximate to the PEF methods in order to facilitate my comparison.

the method package is free to download from the openLCA nexus and includes the PEF method variations.
when comparing, you'll have to see at what point in time the original study was made, as the EF method was updated a few years back

Thanks you for your reply . The original study was made in 2023; I tried with the EF v3.1 but the categories are not exactly the same

presumably that will be due to the inclusion/exclusion of the toxicity categories and their weightings? there was an update at some point. check what weights the study used and if necessary make a copy of the method in openLCA and adjust the weights.
