Restoring/importing zolca database from OpenLCA 2.1.1 to OpenLCA 2.3.1

Question

I tried to backup my database from an old laptop (version 2.1.1 of OpenLCA) and import it to a new laptop (version 2.3.1). It said the import failed.

The steps I did were:

1. Select database in OpenLCA 2.1.1 and select back up database.

2. Back up onto OneDrive as a zolca file

3. Create a blank database in OpenLCA 2.3.1.

4. Open blank database and click import, other, select zolca file just downloaded

Any help is much appreciated, thank you.

Easier is to restore the database, not to import it. If the step between versions is too big, the migration might not work. Could you share any additional details you get about the import failure (from the log file or maybe a detailed error message)? Thank you!
